Small plane crashes near Fredericksburg

A small plane crashed Tuesday near Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The National Transportation Safety Board said in a post on X it was investigating the crash of a Montana Coyote airplane, which seats two people. It’s not clear how many people were in the aircraft.

Footage from Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø’s partners at 7News showed the mangled plane in a gravel lot containing John Deere equipment.

Tuesday afternoon, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on social media there was a large emergency personnel presence near Shannon Airport.
