WASHINGTON – There are still more than 3 million people who subscribe to AOL’s dial-up internet service.
That’s about 400,000 less than a year ago — but fewer people have dropped over the last few months.
AOL had fewer subscriber losses last quarter than any time in the last decade, . The numbers started to tick lower in 2003 — now around an eighth of their peak.
AOL’s website shows unlimited dial-up plans today ranging from 10 bucks to 26 bucks a month.
