WASHINGTON — Looks like Barry Manilow was ready to take a chance on love again — he just wasn’t ready to make his marriage public.
Manilow reportedly married his longtime manager Garry Kief in April 2014, in a private Palm Springs ceremony, but kept the relationship and union secret until now.
The “Copacabana” singer exchanged vows with Kief at his home, in a surprise commitment ceremony that was attended by 20 to 30 guests, according to People and .

According to People, the couple invited guests to their home for lunch, and surprised them with the commitment ceremony, which was officiated by Marc Hulett, Â who has been Manilow’s assistant since the 1980s. Hulett reportedly registered online to become a minister.
Longtime friend and Palm Springs neighbor Suzanne Somers was reportedly the best man.
A Manilow source tells People no official paperwork was signed, but the couple both wear wedding bands and “are committed to one another and have been for a very long time.”
