鶹 Channel meteorologist overjoyed by thundersnow (Video)

WASHINGTON — A 鶹 Channel meteorologist is really enthusiastic about the weather — especially when it came to a thundersnow event in Massachusetts.

Thundersnow is a rare occurrence when there is a mass of cold air on top of warm air and moist air closer to the ground, according to . The effect causes thunder and lightning during a snowstorm.

When Jim Cantore of the 鶹 Channel experienced the phenomenon in Plymouth, Massachusetts, he was overjoyed.

“You can have your $500 million jackpot in Powerball or whatever the heck it was, but I’ll take this, baby,” Cantore shouted.
