WASHINGTON — A portion of an Alexandria road is closed as a result of a water- main break.
The city says that Russell Road is closed between West Oak Street and West Masonic View Avenue, and it will last into mid-day Thursday.
A 12-inch main burst, leaving about 60 families without water service
Due to the water main break, Alexandria City Public Schools canceled all activities at Matthew Maury Elementary School Thursday.
