WASHINGTON — Most airlines are getting stingier and stingier, charging more and more for amenities that used to come standard — things such as checked bags and even drinks will cost customers. But one airline is going in a more luxurious direction.
Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, is looking to corner the luxury market with its latest service, which they call . It’s available on the airline’s new A380 jets, and If it sounds deluxe and spacious, that’s because it is — a three-room suite with showers, a butler, a chef and more.
So how much does it all cost? One way from Abu Dhabi to London will run about $21,000.
