WASHINGTON – A New Mexico town recently saw a hail of a lot of precipitation.
Residents of Santa Rosa woke this week to find more than a foot of hail, .
So many of the pellets — some up to the size of a golf ball — fell that the sent out snow plows to clear city streets.
Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø.com says northeast New Mexico sits an area known as “Hail Alley,” which stretches from southeast Wyoming to northeast Colorado and the Texas Panhandle.
