Before taking a single snap on the Landover gridiron, Griffin hired an attorney, established his own company, Thr3escompany, LLC, and is waiting to hear back from the U.S. patent office on four trademarks: RGIII, RG3, Robert Griffin III and Unbelievably Believable, reports.
The first three trademark filings were for “shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, pants, shorts, footwear, hats, caps, athletic uniforms,” according to .
Griffin, who , apparently wasn’t satisfied by the Subway sandwich artwork he received or the hot dog named after him at a Capitol Hill joint:
