WASHINGTON – Gas prices keep rising. The latest Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Pain in the Gas survey shows the average price of a gallon of unleaded regular rose 3 cents to $4.07 in the past week.
One year ago, on March 31, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø’s gas survey showed the price of regular unleaded gas to be 35 cents a gallon lower at $3.72 a gallon.
This week, mid-grade increased by 4 cents to $4.26 a gallon. Premium increased by 3 cents to $4.37. Diesel prices remained the same at $4.20 a gallon.
The average for regular fuel this week is cheapest in Virginia, where regular is $4.01. That compares to $4.04 in Maryland and $4.17 in the District.
