WASHINGTON — A woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in Montgomery County on Thursday.
Police say the 50-year-old woman was on the 16100 block of Orchard Grove Road near Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Darnestown when she was hit around 5:30 p.m.
She is currently unconscious with life-threatening injuries.
Details of the accident aren’t clear at this point.
