WASHINGTON 鈥� Montgomery County, Maryland police have released the photo of a man they say assaulted a teenager on her way home from school earlier this year.
Investigators are hoping someone will recognize the thin-built black man with a mustache and glasses seen on a Ride On Bus where police say he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl.
The next day, on March 7, the girl reported the assault to a school resource officer at Montgomery Blair High School.
On her way home, investigators said a man boarded the bus along Colesville Road in Silver Spring, Maryland and sexually assaulted the teen.
Then, the suspect followed her off the bus at Sligo Avenue and assaulted her a second time before running off, police said in a release.
Investigators have been looking for the man. They’re now releasing the photo in hopes someone might know who he is.
There’s a $10,000 reward for a tip that leads to a conviction and callers can remain anonymous.
