3 people hospitalized after shooting in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON — A man and two women are in the hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting in Northeast D.C. Sunday night.

D.C. police responded to a call of a shooting just after 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Oglethorpe Street Northeast and found the three shooting victims conscious and breathing.

All three were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Interim D.C. police Chief Peter Newsham was on the scene.

The shooting remains under investigation.
