WASHINGTON — National Zoo officials are investigating an incident in which two guests were hit with a golf cart.
The injuries are minor, but they were transported to a local hospital.
The mishap, officials say, happened near the Amazonia exhibit.
It’s unclear if the cart was moving. Officials say a zoo employee was not driving the cart.
