Chad is one of the Weekend Meteorologists heard on Â鶹¹ÙÍø. He also works for Â鶹¹ÙÍøBug in Germantown, Maryland. Prior to working for Â鶹¹ÙÍøBug and Â鶹¹ÙÍø, Chad was the weekend meteorologist at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland. He started his career in 2003 as a News Producer/Â鶹¹ÙÍø Fill-in at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania where he earned his degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology.
Chad was always fascinated by the changing weather in the western Maryland mountains, where he grew up. He vividly remembers the blizzard of 1993 and the one in January of 1996 as well as the tornado that ravaged Frostburg, Maryland, in June 1998.
Now, Chad is happy to be forecasting the weather for the nation’s capital on Â鶹¹ÙÍø. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and listening to oldies music from the 50s, 60s and early 70s.
